Browse the artists and pick the one you like. Send a request with your services, your date and the time you need to be ready by — in the Glamr app or on the website. Your artist accepts, or suggests a different time — either way with the time they'll start and finish. You accept that time, suggest another, or cancel the request. Accepting takes you straight to paying your deposit. Paying it confirms your booking; the rest is paid to your artist on the day. Once your booking is confirmed, you and your artist can message each other in Glamr.

Each artist sets their own prices; mobile makeup and hair starts from $115. You see one total for your services and your suburb before you send a request, with travel already included. Once you've accepted your artist's time, a deposit confirms your booking and the rest is paid to your artist on the day.

With Glamr's artists today, bride makeup is $190.50 to $463.55 and bride makeup and hair is $317.50 to $825.50, for one bride, priced near each artist's own area with travel included. As soon as you know the date. Year 12 formals follow the HSC, which finishes on Thursday 5 November 2026, so many formals fall on the same few November and December evenings. A group of friends can share one request and get ready together.

Often, yes. Send your request as early as you can with the time you need to be ready by; artists reply directly. If your first choice can't do it, ask another artist who covers your suburb.

It depends on how many people, whether they want hair, makeup or both, and the time you need to be ready by; each artist decides how many people they take on alone and may bring help. Our getting-ready planner works out a timeline and a rough number of artists, and your artist confirms the real start and finish when they reply.

While a request is waiting on a reply we send reminders. If your artist hasn't replied within 24 hours, we release your request and show you other artists who can do it. If you don't accept an offered time within 24 hours, or don't pay within 24 hours of accepting it, the request closes.

Yes. Glamr gift vouchers can be bought in the Glamr app or on the website (glamr.com.au/gift-vouchers), from $25 to $500, and emailed to you to pass on or straight to the person on a day you choose. They're valid for 3 years. The person adds the code on their Account, in the app or on the website, and it becomes Glamr credit: they select it at checkout to take it off the amount paid to Glamr to lock in a booking. Their artist's own rate is paid to the artist on the day.

Each artist sets the areas they cover, and between them our artists travel across Sydney — to your home, hotel or venue. Enter your suburb to see who comes to you. Travel is included in the price you see: one total, nothing added on the day.

Yes — add everyone in your party to one request. Your artist plans the morning so everyone is ready on time, and once your booking is confirmed you can message them to sort the running order.

For weddings and formal season, as early as you can — popular dates fill up fast. For everyday looks, a few days' notice is often enough. Check your date to see which artists are available.

Yes. You can send a request for any day of the week, with a ready-by time from 4:30 am. Each artist sets the days they work, so check your date to see who's free. Saturdays in wedding and formal season fill first, so send your request as early as you can.

You pay the deposit once you've accepted your artist's time, and it confirms your booking. It's non-refundable if you cancel — it takes the date off your artist's calendar, which is why it can't come back. If your artist ever needs to cancel, your deposit is refunded in full. Yes, where your artist's calendar allows. Message them as early as possible and they'll do their best to move you to another date.

You pay the deposit as you accept your artist's time, securely online through Stripe, in the app or on the website. The rest is paid directly to your artist on the day. Your card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store them.

Absolutely. Let your artist know before your appointment — you can message them once your booking is confirmed — and ask for a patch test if you're unsure. They'll plan their products around you.

Allow roughly 45–60 minutes per face; bridal looks and groups take longer. When your artist accepts your request they send the time they'll start and finish, so your morning runs to schedule.

Some of our artists offer 1:1 makeup lessons at your place. Where an artist offers one, it shows as an option when you book.

Independent professional makeup and hair artists working across Sydney. Each profile shows the artist's own work, prices and reviews, so you can choose who comes to you. "ID-checked" on a profile means the artist's identity document was checked through our payment provider.
